Sir David and Victoria Beckham have reflected on ‘great memories’ with their estranged son Brooklyn after he launched a scathing attack on them.
The eldest son of the couple, 26, said he did not wish to reconcile with his family in his six-page statement on Monday.
As the feud escalates and his mother is said to be ‘devastated’ by events this week, both she and David have reflected on sweet memories with Brooklyn.
On Saturday, British photographer Platon posted throwback images from 2006, including one snap showing former footballer David shirtless with Brooklyn’s name tattooed on his back.
The photographer also shared an insight of the day he shot David, 50, who was playing for Real Madrid at the time.
He penned alongside the snaps: ‘Victoria arrived with Brooklyn, who was seven years old, Romeo, who was four and Cruz, who was just a baby. Brooklyn and Romeo charged into the studio wearing football kits, kicking balls, doing headers and other tricks.

‘While Victoria was busy with the children, I started work with David. At one point, Brooklyn ran on set with his football under his arm and hugged his dad’s right leg. Then, Romeo joined his older brother.
‘Then, Victoria also appeared with baby Cruz in her arms. The whole family turned away from us for a private heartfelt group hug. It was a poignant thing to seeâthis spontaneous moment of affection happening on a giant photography set in front of 60 people.
‘Celebrity comes with a heavy price and often it is family members who also pay.’
The Beckhams spotted the touching post and replied underneath, with David commenting: ‘Good memories.’
Former Spice Girl Victoria then said:Â ‘Brings back great memories!’
Platon concluded his post of David’s snap: ‘In this picture, although David stands alone, we see the love of his children tattooed onto his back. Family is everything. David Beckham, I salute you.’
In his scathing statement this week, Brooklyn accused his parents Victoria, 51, and David, 50, of trying to ruin his relationship with wife Nicola Peltz, 30, and said his mother danced ‘inappropriately’ on him during his 2022 nuptials to the billionaire heiress.
However, their wedding DJ Fat Tony appeared on ITV’s This Morning on Friday to reveal exactly what happened during the reception.

The 60-year-old branded the incident ‘really awkward’ and confirmed that Nicola fled the reception in tears.
Tony, a longtime friend of the Beckhams, claimed that Marc Anthony was to blame, revealing the musician had called Victoria to the dance floor with her son and instructed him, ‘place your hands on your mother’s hips’.Â
He explained: ‘There was no slut-dropping, there was no PVC cat suits, no Spice Girl action!
‘The word “inappropriate”, why I said it was as well, it was the timing, this is what happened.’
Tony continued: ‘What happened was, basically, Marc Anthony was performing on stage, he then called Brooklyn onto stage.
‘Brooklyn went on to the stage, and the next minute everyoneâs expecting Nicola to go up and do the first dance, and then Marc asked for the most beautiful woman in the room to come to the stage – and then he says “Victoria, come to the stage”.’
He revealed that Brooklyn looked ‘devastated’ at the fact his first dance was with Victoria and not his wife, adding that Nicola left the room ‘crying her eyes out’.
Speaking exclusively to the Daily Mail, the DJ said at one point Brooklyn’s hands were on his mother’s waist while her arms were placed around his neck.
âThe timing was inappropriate for me. It was meant to be a bride and groomâs moment,’ he told us.

âIt was in the heat of the moment.
âBrooklyn left right after the dance. Nicola left the room and afterwards he went after her.
âNicolaâs family left, they went after their daughter.
âMarc Anthony is a latin singer. It was a love song.’
When asked if Brooklyn had his hands on Victoriaâs hips, he said: ‘Well, yeah. It was slow dancing, it wasnât like some samba number. Victoria had her arms around his neck.’
He went on: âBrooklyn is a friend of mine. The whole situation is just awful, the way itâs played out so publicly.
âFamilies are families, I donât know what started it. At one point someone might say something publicly.â
He continued: âBrooklyn is upset about a lot of things, sometimes the smallest of things can become the biggest of things, because it highlights it.
‘Iâm not speaking bad about either party in it, Iâm just putting the narrative straight about the dance.’
