🇺🇸 Beyond the icons and legends, Budweiser reminds us that the quiet moments last the longest. If the Super Bowl LX ad stunned viewers with soaring eagles and powerful Clydesdales, Budweiser’s Super Bowl LVIII commercial did the opposite — and somehow hit even harder. No big speeches. No flashy effects. Just a snowstorm, an old delivery run, a team of Clydesdales pushing forward — and a Labrador emerging from the white to gently lead them home. Then came the moment that slowed everything down: a massive horse and a tiny dog, nose to nose, quiet and simple, but unforgettable. In the middle of Super Bowl noise and chaos, Budweiser proved something timeless — the stories that stay with us aren’t always the loudest, but the ones that feel human.

Clydesdale Horse Shares Sweet Moment with Labrador Retriever in Budweiser’s 2024 Super Bowl Ad

Budweiser’s iconic Clydesdale horses are back for the big game.

In the beer brand’s new spot, “Old-School Delivery,” which is scheduled to air during the 2024 Super Bowl on Feb. 11, Clydesdale horses are working hard to get Budweiser to a bar in need.

The ad opens with a bird’s eye view of a town stuck in a snowstorm. The bad weather shuts down power to the local bar, and at the same time, the establishment starts to run low on Budweiser. It seems the bar will be unable to get more beer due to closed roads and a snowy forecast until the Budweiser Clydesdales gather together to inspire their caretakers to deliver beer the old-fashioned way.

The commercial continues with two Budweiser workers — one portrayed by a real-life Budweiser wholesaler named Fred Dana —loading up a horsedrawn cart full of Budweiser kegs. The Clydesdales brave the deep snow to deliver the bounty of beer to town.

The horses get the much-anticipated delivery to the bar with help from a Labrador retriever, who spots the cart and leads it to the watering hole full of pleased patrons.

After the successful delivery, the spot closes with one of the massive Clydesdale horses sharing a nuzzle with the helpful Lab.

According to Anheuser-Busch, this new commercial marks the Budweiser Clydesdale 46th Super Bowl ad appearance.

“Budweiser has been synonymous with the Super Bowl for decades, and the broadcast continues to be a very special moment for our brand and a core pillar of our advertising strategy,” Kristina Punwani, the Head of Marketing at Budweiser USA, said in a statement. “This year, we’re thrilled to bring our fans a piece of the traditional Super Bowl entertainment that they know and love from Budweiser: the iconic Clydesdales. We knew there was no better way to show Budweiser’s continued commitment to delivering for its fans than with our biggest celebrities.”

Budweiser welcomed four new Clydesdale horses into the family in Jan. 2023. The animals helped Anheuser-Busch celebrate last year’s Super Bowl by attending the company’s first Super Bowl watch party hosted at Warm Springs Ranch in Boonville, Missouri. Warm Springs Ranch is the official breeding facility for the Budweiser Clydesdales.

Budweiser’s Super Bowl commercial, “Old-School Delivery, ” will air during the 2024 Super Bowl on Feb. 11. The Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers will face off in Super Bowl LVIII, airing on CBS at 6:30 p.m. ET.
