4 Popular HGTV Shows in Limbo as Fans Plead for Updates

Nearly a year after a massive shakeup at HGTV saw the cancellation of at least seven well-known renovation shows, from “Bargain Block” to “Farmhouse Fixer,” fans are still waiting for word on the futures of several other series that seem to be stuck in limbo. Here are four shows viewers keep begging for answers about, as of March 2026.
Hosts of HGTV’s ‘Unsellable Houses’ Keep Fans Guessing
It’s not clear what’s happening with Leslie Davis and Lyndsay Lamb’s show “Unsellable Houses,” but the twin sisters keep teasing that they have big announcements in the works. As recently as March 10, they teased a “VERY exciting project we have coming up.”
Fans flooded the post, pleading for word of a series renewal, including one who wrote, “The only thing that is going to make me happy is to hear Unsellable Homes is back for a new Season! 😃”
A fifth season of “Unsellable Houses,” filmed in their hometown of Snohomish, Washington, debuted in the fall of 2024 after the duo won season five of “Rock the Block.” But there’s been no word from them or HGTV on whether a sixth season is planned.
The sisters remain active on social media, still running and promoting their Lamb & Co. real estate, design, and decor businesses, and making appearances at home shows across the country to discuss their ideas and their HGTV show. In addition, Davis shocked fans in early 2026 with the word that she got engaged to “Rock the Block” contractor Don Reidy — and then had to clarify that she quietly got divorced in 2022 from her first husband, Jacob Davis.
Will HGTV Grant ‘Down Home Fab’ a 3rd Season?
There’s also been no word on the fate of Chelsea and Cole DeBoer’s show, “Down Home Fab,” which premiered its third season in May 2025. Filmed in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, where they’ve also opened a home decor store, the couple — alums of MTV’s “Teen Mom 2” — tend to their ranch, parent their four kids, and renovate homes for families in the area.
The couple continues to post fun and inspiring content on social media (Chelsea has 6.6 million fans alone on Instagram), from home ideas to their kids’ antics. But whenever fans ask whether a fourth season will return, the DeBoers rarely answer. For now, the best way to catch the DeBoers is at their store’s 2nd anniversary party in Sioux Falls on March 21.
Alison Victoria’s New HGTV Show ‘Sin City Rehab’ is Up in the Air
HGTVIn 2025, longtime HGTV star Alison Victoria shifted her focus from years of renovating spaces in Chicago on “Windy City Rehab” to another city she calls home, Las Vegas. In September, HGTV debuted “Sin City Rehab,” produced by Victoria’s new production company. But will the show return?
There’s been no word yet on the fate of Victoria’s new show, and she has not posted anything yet about filming a new season. She has, however, been offering personal interior design services. In February, she posted that her design firm — Alison Victoria Interiors — was taking on a limited number of new clients. A month before, she promoted her “Kitchen Quickie” Zoom consultations, which cost up to $5,000 for a 90-minute session.
Victoria will return in 2026 for new seasons of Retta’s “Ugliest House in America” and “Scariest House in America” to renovate the homes deemed to be the “ugliest” and “scariest.” But her other HGTV show, “Battle on the Beach,” was canceled in 2025 after five seasons.
HGTV Allowed Jasmine Roth to Move ‘Help! I Wrecked My House’ to Utah — Will It Continue?
HGTVIn 2025, longtime HGTV star Jasmine Roth was thrilled when the network allowed her to move her show, “Help! I Wrecked My House,” to Park City, Utah, after living for 15 years in Huntington Beach, California.
Roth filmed the fifth season in her new town and it premiered in late September. The mom of two girls has been open about how hard the adjustment was personally and professionally. In a post on March 2, she wrote, “This move kicked our butts for a while, but I can honestly say we’ve changed for the better.”
In January, Roth wrote in a post that she’s had viewers coming up to her “more than ever” to tell her how much they love her show. Nevertheless, there’s been no official word on a season 6 renewal.
