Longtime HGTV star Christina Haack thought she made it clear in a recent interview that she’s not thinking about a fourth marriage right now, despite being head over heels for her boyfriend of over a year, business executive Christopher Larocca.

But on March 15, 2026, she had to issue a clarification in her Instagram Stories after an online news outlet zeroed in on the ring she wore to HGTV’s “Bachelor Mansion Takeover” press event days before, reporting that Haack said she would marry Larocca. Haack pushed back on the article, explaining that it was not an engagement ring, but still a meaningful piece of jewelry.

A day before HGTV’s March 12 press event for “Bachelor Mansion Takeover,” a competition series on which Haack served as a judge, the interior designer told E! News that she and Larocca were “not in any rush” to get married.

“It’s a one day at a time thing, which is nice,” she said. “Yeah, it’s just about easy right now. He has a career, and he works a lot, and he has to travel a lot for work, and so it’s just nice being with someone that gets the dynamic of hard work and motivation.”

At the event, she also gushed to Us Weekly about Larocca, calling him “very supportive,” but insisted, “Marriage is just not on my radar right now.”

Nevertheless, the Daily Mail sparked online buzz two days later by publishing a story that declared “Christina Haack flashes a ring on her wedding finger as she says she WOULD get married again… after 3 divorces.”

On March 15, Haack posted a screenshot of the article in her Stories and wrote, “Bad reporting @dailymail 🙄”

“That ring (that I’ve worn for almost 10 years) is a Cartier love ring (a gift to myself) with my kids initials,” Haack continued. “And ‘Marriage is just not on my radar right now,’ was my exact quote.”

Christina Haack Spent the Weekend in Cabo With Christopher Larocca

Haack has been dating Larocca since late 2024, whom she met after splitting from her third husband, Josh Hall, in July of that year.

The couple travels together extensively, including at times with her first husband, HGTV’s Tarek El Moussa — with whom she shares 15-year-old daughter Taylor and 10-year-old son Brayden –and his second wife, Heather Rae El Moussa. Haack also has a six-year-old son, Hudson, with her second husband, Ant Anstead.

Larocca has a daughter he shares with his ex-wife, and on March 14, Haack shared a pic in her Instagram Stories of herself, Larocca, his daughter, and a friend on a private jet, heading for a getaway in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
