ITV The Chaseâs Paul Sinha âhands in noticeâ as player wins huge jackpot
The Chase viewers were left stunned as a player took a huge risk by accepting a high offer from The Sinnerman
Bradley Walsh couldnât resist quipping that Paul Sinha had âhanded his notice inâ on The Chase after an âunbelievableâ round. The popular ITV quiz show saw The Chaser take on four new hopefuls: Ian, Jennie, Gregor, and Karen, all ready to put their knowledge to the test.
Ian, a magician from London, was the first contestant to step up against one of Britainâs top quiz brains. He impressed in the Cash Builder, securing ÂŁ6,000 before facing off with Paul Sinha, also known as The Sinnerman.
After a nail-biting head-to-head, Ian secured his place in the final chase, starting the teamâs prize fund.
Jennie followed, managing to add ÂŁ5,000 to the potential winnings but ultimately heard Bradley deliver the bad news: âYou have been caught and for you, The Chase is overâ as she was ousted by The Chaser. Gregor, too, found himself bested by The Sinnerman and left the game.
The studio was then stunned when Karen bravely opted for The Chaserâs high offer of ÂŁ93,000, reports the Liverpool Echo. Paul wryly commented on her bold move: âThis is either brilliant news for Ian, or terrible news for Ian.â

Social media was abuzz after Karenâs bold move on the show. One viewer remarked: âKaren didnât even stutter taking that high offer,â while another praised her with a supportive: âGood girl!â A third chimed in, saying: âWe just cheered for her.â
Karenâs gamble paid off as she showcased her impressive general knowledge, sailing through her round against The Sinnerman and securing her place in the final with Ian, boosting their potential winnings to an incredible ÂŁ100,000.
Eager fans encouraged others: âIf youâre not watching #TheChase switch over quickâ to catch Karen and Ianâs attempt at the substantial prize. The duo managed to answer 16 questions correctly in the final chase.
To the audienceâs astonishment, The Sinnerman couldnât match their score, falling short by one question with only a second left on the clock. Host Bradley commented on the nail-biting finish: âThat was close.â
Reflecting on the contestantsâ victory, The Chaser conceded: âYou absolutely deserve every penny of that.â
Despite expressing his own disappointment at losing a game with such a significant sum at stake. He ruefully noted: âIâve cost ITV ÂŁ100,000 but you donât need to care about any of that.â
Bradley couldnât resist a jest at The Sinnermanâs expense, quipping: âThatâs a funny way to hand in your notice.â
He described the game as âunbelievableâ, with Ian and Karen each walking away with a hefty ÂŁ50,000.
