In a now-viral TikTok shared by user @brii_5212, Leavitt’s neighbor revealed that she helps her elderly neighbor, Leavitt’s grandpa, vote for his granddaughter each week.

“My neighbor calls me every Tuesday to ask me to vote for his granddaughter on his behalf,” Brii wrote in the now-viral TikTok, which has surpassed one million views. “It’s his way of supporting her since he’s not good with phones.”

In the video, Brii can be seen patiently teaching Leavitt’s grandfather how to navigate the “Dancing with the Stars” voting system. Dressed in a custom “Whark It” T-shirt featuring a photo of Leavitt and her partner Mark Ballas, he beams with pride as he learns how to cast his votes. “He’s the sweetest proud grandpa,” Brii added in the caption.

Leavitt herself saw the video and couldn’t hold back her emotions. “This made me so emotional  Thank you so much for helping him  love and miss you SO SO MUCH grandpa,” she commented on TikTok.

Brii responded, “I’m so glad this reached you! He deserves all the love and recognition for the way he supports you. It’s just so heartwarming .”

The official DWTS handle also responded to the video, saying, “So sweet .”

Even Leavitt’s husband, Conner, joined in, commenting, “Grandpa Lockhart is the best!!”

Leavitt lit up the ballroom on October 21 with her “Wicked” Night Quickstep to “Popular,” channeling Glinda alongside her partner Mark Ballas. Dressed head-to-toe in pink, the duo delivered a high-energy, technically sharp routine that had the judges on their feet.

Derek Hough called it “an advanced, jam-packed performance,” while Jon M. Chu said it was “the perfect blend of technical prowess and fun.”

Carrie Ann Inaba praised the routine as “unhinged in all the right ways,” and Bruno Tonioli dubbed it “Glinda gone ballistic.” The performance earned Leavitt the first 10s of the season, scoring an impressive 39 out of 40.

Speaking with People earlier this season, Leavitt reflected on how meaningful the experience has been with her loved ones by her side. “My family rallies around me in a different way — my husband and kids bring me so much strength and joy. It’s a full-circle moment for me,” she shared.

The proud mom recently earned the first perfect 10 of the season for her “Wicked” Night performance to “Popular” on October 21, a milestone that brought fans to their feet. Leavitt will return to the ballroom for the show’s Halloween episode, airing Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+, as she continues her inspiring journey on “Dancing with the Stars.”
