Jasmine Roth Teams Up With Leslie Jones on ‘Roast My Rental’

Those fans who guessed Roth has a new show coming out on HGTV are correct!

Roth will team up with comedian Leslie Jones for HGTV’s “Roast My Rental.”

On May 13, Roth posted the HGTV announcement on her Instagram Stories, writing, “Today’s BIG NEWS!!! Can’t believe we’re Facebook official @lesdogggg.”

A May 13 HGTV Instagram post explained, “Leslie Jones is calling out the worst rental properties on the Internet!”

“In ‘Roast My Rental,’ the comedian/design enthusiast/truth-teller goes in on the country’s worst short-term rentals — think viral photos of gross amenities and misleading listings — then attempts to flip them in 72 hours alongside reno expert Jasmine Roth!” the post’s caption noted.

“Series premiere Friday, July 24, at 9:30 p.m. ET 💥 #RoastMyRental,” the caption added.

A press release explained what fans can expect with the series.

“In the new 11-episode series ‘Roast My Rental,’ comedian, truth-teller and design enthusiast Leslie Jones will crash America’s worst short-term rentals, whose viral photos of amenities gone wrong, misleading listings and brutally honest reviews have scared guests away,” the HGTV release shared.

“After Leslie’s hilarious roast of the property and a no-nonsense reality check, she and her experienced design team led by HGTV star and home renovation expert Jasmine Roth (Help! I Wrecked My House) will come to the rescue and help the owners clean up the chaos in just 72 hours,” according to HGTV. “They’ll fix the flaws, transform the houses into top-tier vacation escapes and give the ‘roastees’ a chance at redemption when the next guests come to stay.”

Fans were understandably giddy over the news, with comments including, “I cannot wait!” “This ought to be good,” “Sounds fun,” and “Omg! Who thought of this. Yes!”

One excited fan noted, “I can’t wait … you know @lesdogggg will tell it like it is.”

Later in the day, Roth took to Instagram to excitedly ask, “Did you guys see the news today?!”

She then answered some fan questions about her upcoming show. “Leslie Jones and I have a new show on HGTV,” Roth said. “These rentals are some of the wildest properties I’ve ever been to.”

The HGTV star noted that her co-star “doesn’t hold back,” adding, “It’s hilarious actually.”

Roth steps in to turn around the rental disaster. “I have 72 hours to work my magic,” she explained. “The show is funny, it’s really different, and it was so great to just be able to help these people along the way.”
