Giovanni Pernice Makes Big Comeback Announcement As He Reunites With Strictly Production Company For New Tour

Giovanni Pernice has thrilled fans after announcing his return to the stage with a brand-new UK and Ireland tour — and this time, he is teaming up once again with Strictly Theatre Co.

The Italian dancer, who was one of Strictly Come Dancing’s most recognisable professionals from 2015 until 2023, revealed the exciting news on Instagram on June 1, telling followers he “wouldn’t stay away long.”

Giovanni left Strictly in 2024 following accusations and complaints made by former celebrity partner Amanda Abbington. But now, two years after stepping away from the BBC ballroom, he appears ready to begin a fresh chapter in front of audiences across the country.

Announcing the new show, titled Unstoppable: UK & IRL 2027, Giovanni wrote: “You all knew I wouldn’t stay away long… I couldn’t! So here we are — a BRAND NEW tour with @strictlytheatreco.”

He added that tickets will go on sale from Friday, June 5, with dates and locations available through his official website.

“I’m so excited to be back and perform for you all again… it’s been tooo long,” he continued.Giovanni Pernice on the red carpet

The announcement comes as Giovanni is currently travelling across the UK hosting dance classes, which are expected to continue until the end of June.

Fans were quick to flood his comments with excitement, celebrating what many saw as a major comeback moment.

“What a way to start the week,” one supporter wrote.

Another added: “Yes Gio… Mr Unstoppable!! You have been so missed.”

A third fan shared their joy at seeing Belfast included on the tour list, writing: “This is amazing, so happy you’re back. Really can’t wait to book tickets, so proud of you.”

Others echoed the excitement, with one saying: “This makes me sooooo happy! Can’t wait for Aberdeen.”

After months away from the Strictly spotlight, Giovanni’s latest announcement suggests one thing clearly: he is not done dancing yet — and his fans are more than ready to welcome him back.
