Former supermodel Katie Price recently confidently confirmed to the media that her husband, Lee Andrews, will be officially released from prison in just a few days. Unable to hide her emotions after a long period of separation, Katie expressed her longing for her husband and made a cryptic statement about their upcoming reunion.

Katie Price has insisted her husband Lee Andrews will be freed from prison within days and says she “can’t wait” to be back with him — as she maintains she won’t give him a penny despite claims he needs £140,000 to secure his release.

The former glamour model, 48, has been plunged into turmoil over the sudden disappearance of her husband of just five months after he vanished in Dubai — initially telling her he had been kidnapped, only for it to emerge he was actually locked up in Al Awir Central Prison on fraud allegations.

Katie flew out to the Middle East in a desperate bid to find Lee after he failed to return her calls — and now, speaking exclusively to The Sun, she says she is certain he’ll be out of custody by next week. But the TV personality admitted even with that promise, she can’t help but worry about what’s going on behind bars.

“He is definitely coming out,” Katie said. “I can’t wait to see him, can’t wait for our chats. He should be out next week, but even knowing that — knowing what prisons are like even in England — you never know.”

Despite that assurance, Katie made it clear she won’t be opening her wallet for him, even if he asks. She stated firmly she has no intention of ever giving money to Lee, insisting she has learned from experience not to financially support men in her life.

“I’ve made it clear to Lee — I will never give him money. I’ll never give a man money,” she said. “I’ve done that all my life. I’ve always been the breadwinner. In all my divorces, I’m always the one who ends up giving.”

Katie explained how she told Lee — bluntly — that she would not be handing over cash to help his situation. “I said to Lee: ‘I’ll never do it,’” she added.

That stance comes amid reports the jailed businessman needs a six‑figure sum — more than £140,000 — for his legal team and potential release costs.

Katie said she was initially told by prison officials that Lee could be freed for around £6,500 — but that figure quickly spiralled into something far more dramatic as the case developed.

The whole saga began when Lee missed a scheduled interview on Good Morning Britain and then stopped answering messages, leaving Katie frantic with worry.

At first, she genuinely feared he had been abducted. In her panic, she even spoke to a specialist UK team that deals with kidnappings, trying to piece together what might have happened to her husband.

“I’ve never thought Lee’s ghosted me because I know how close we are,” she explained. “I never once thought that. We’ve always had conversations — we both like watching crime and stuff like that.”

Turning to that fear, she told how thoughts of the worst played through her mind. “You always think of scenarios,” she said. “We would never do anything like that. Our relationship isn’t like that. We’re proper like this.”

Katie admitted it was “a worry” when the kidnap unit became involved because they were only working from intelligence and couldn’t give her straight answers. That uncertainty, she said, kept her awake at night.

Eventually, however, the truth came out — Lee had been arrested over allegations of committing financial crimes while doing business in Dubai. News of his detention stunned friends and fans alike, especially given the couple’s recent wedding and constant public displays of affection.

Since Lee’s incarceration, Katie has been spotted flying between the UK and the UAE as she tries to get clarity on what exactly is happening, juggling her schedule of TV appearances, business commitments, and caring for her children back home.

She insists she hasn’t lost faith in her husband despite the chaos, and has repeatedly said she wants him home safe. But her zero‑tolerance stance on giving him money has shocked some, with insiders close to the couple describing the situation as “tense.”

Friends told The Sun that Lee has been pressuring Katie to hand over cash to cover legal fees and other costs — but Katie has refused to be drawn in, saying she won’t be “bullied or guilt‑tripped” into parting with her money.

“He knows where I stand,” she said. “He knows that I’m not about to give him wads of cash just because he’s picked a fight he can’t get out of.”

Despite insisting she believes Lee will be out soon, Katie conceded it has been one of the hardest times of her life, describing the ordeal as “totally draining” and “worrying beyond belief.”

“There’s no worse feeling than not knowing what’s going on with someone you love,” she said. “But I’m staying strong, and once he’s out, we’ll deal with it together.”

As it stands, Katie will remain in the UAE while the final details of Lee’s release are ironed out — with her camp confident that within days, the heartbreak and confusion can finally be put behind them.
