Christina Haack Reveals Whether Her Boyfriend is Joining ‘The Flip Off’

Weeks after Christina Haack and her third husband, Josh Hall, began filming the new HGTV series “The Flip Off” in 2024, they broke up and filed for divorce after three years together.

Hall was only featured in the first episode, which premiered in January 2025 and included Haack tearfully revealing they’d split for good. She continued filming solo, with help from different friends in the business, while going up against her first husband — and fellow HGTV star — Tarek El Moussa and his second wife, Heather Rae El Moussa.

By the time the season finale aired in March, with a party at Haack’s home to celebrate, someone new was on the scene: Haack’s new boyfriend, business executive Christopher Larocca, who made a surprise cameo in the background. The couple was still going strong as Haack and the El Moussas began filming a second season of the hit show in late September — so will Larocca be part of the cast?

Christina Haack Says She’ll Like Incorporate Boyfriend Into Show ‘Very Carefully’

During an Entertainment Tonight interview on October 3, Haack revealed that it’s likely Larocca will be part of filming “The Flip Off,” but that his inclusion will be orchestrated “very carefully.”

Haack noted that she’ll likely catch flak from fans for including him, “because I’ve said, you know, I should never have (a romantic partner) on camera (again). But we do have such a great dynamic with the four of us — Tarek, Heather, myself, and Chris.”

Haack, Larocca, and the El Moussas have wound up enjoying each others’ company so much, they’ve traveled together, celebrated Christmas and Easter together, and frequently feature one another in social media posts.

“Maybe he’ll do a pop-in, but only if there’s no drama involved,” Haack told ET about incorporating Larocca into the show. “I am an executive producer, so I can make sure that that happens. But if he wasn’t in it, it would feel inauthentic because he is a part of all of it, right? And so it is a fine line. I know people are gonna be judging, ‘Oh my gosh, blah blah blah,’ but when it comes down to it, this is real. This show is real.”

Christina Haack Says Her Relationship With Christopher Larocca is ‘Totally Different’ Than Past Experiences

Acknowledging that she’s gone through lots of therapy since her divorce and that she works regularly with a life coach, Haack said that her relationship with Larocca is “totally different” than her past partnerships.

“I think I got lucky, I deserved him,” she told ET. “He’s a wonderful man, he’s nice, he’s kind, everyone loves him, he has his own amazing career, and he gets along well with my other co-parents, we have a lot of fun together. Everyone loves him, he’s just a good person.”

“I’d say it’s like, the first time I’ve ever had a calm happiness,” Haack noted. “It’s like, life can be very chaotic, especially, you know, in this industry, and tabloids, and reading about things. But this is, like, the first time that I’m, like, peacefully happy if that makes sense.”

Haack added, “This time around, it’s especially just being honest with myself, really honest with my partner, not being afraid to talk about certain things, not being afraid of disappointing someone, and just being really raw, authentic, and real.”
