ROBERT Irwin has hit it off with a member of the Dancing With the Stars cast and is ‘eager’ to see where things will go, The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal.
The son of the legendary late Steve Irwin has his eyes set on rising star, Hailey Bills, who made her debut on DWTS this year as a member of the dance troupe. 
Fans have suspected that sparks were flying between Robert, 21, and Hailey, 19, after noticing their on-screen chemistry during glimpses of them together on the show.
It appears that the suspicions were right on track, as The U.S. Sun can confirm that Robert does indeed have his sights set on Hailey.
“Robert’s been chasing Hailey around on set like a puppy dog. It’s no secret, people see it but the whole crew is supportive.
“They love the two of them individually so together they would be even better.
“There’s definitely a lot of attraction there, definitely a lot of flirting.
“They seem to have a really good connection and chemistry, that’s for sure,” a source spilled.
However, the insider said that it’s still early on, so the pair are “not yet” officially dating.
“Robert has his eyes on the prize and is just trying to get through this season and come out on top, so nothing is official yet.
“They aren’t in a relationship but the attraction is there, it’s heading in that direction.”
The insider added that the “other roadblock” to the young lovebirds’ dating is the fact that Robert typically resides in Australia and Hailey lives in Utah when they’re not in Los Angeles for DWTS.
Hailey is the niece of longtime DWTS pro, Jenna Johnson, who also competed on this current season however, she was eliminated in the first week with partner Corey Feldman.
She was cast on the show this season and made her DWTS debut in September as a troupe member.

The DWTS troupe is a group of young dancers who are hired to be background performers to the pros and contestants.
Many of the show’s pros began their DWTS journey as a member of the dance troupe.
In a video posted this week, Hailey, along with the other dancers, called Robert their “honorary troupe member.”
WILD LOVE
Robert confessed that he had love on his mind earlier in season 34 when he explained that his Australian family has a history of falling for Americans.
“My mom and dad met when she was this American tourist coming over to Australia, and that’s also how my sister met her husband,” he said of his parents, Steve and Terrie Irwin, and his sister Bindi Irwin along with her husband Chandler Powell.
“I’ve been saying, when is that going to happen for me? Though that American tourist is not quite yet lined up.
“I look at my mum, I look at my dad and I’m like, that’s it. That’s who I want to be. That’s a perfect relationship,” he added.
Meanwhile, Hailey is just starting out in her TV career, but it appears as though it’s only the beginning of her DWTS stardom.
“Hailey is all but confirmed to be a pro next year. Producers have already told her in more or less words that she is a lock in to be full time as a pro moving forward.
“They felt she has paid her dues. She was on DWTS Juniors, she has been a troupe member, and she knows the pros well.

“She attends so many rehearsals and absorbs all the pros’ teaching like a sponge. She’s been the most impressive new addition since the show hired Daniella [Karagach].
“The pros all love her and think the world of her. She’s particularly impressed Derek a lot, and he’s a huge advocate for,” a show insider told The U.S. Sun.
