Which HGTV Shows Are Returning in 2026? What We Know So Far
HGTV went through several ups and downs in 2025.
While the network continued to air new and returning shows featuring its biggest stars, it also faced backlash from viewers over the cancellations of several fan-favorite shows. Following the cancellation of Bargain Block in June 2025, HGTV fans had to bid farewell to series such as Married to Real Estate, Izzy Does It, Farmhouse Fixer, Christina on the Coast, and The Flipping El Moussas.
Some stars from the canceled shows, however, will return to HGTV in 2026. Christina Haack will once against compete against Tarek and Heather Rae El Moussa in Season 2 of The Flip Off, while Ty Pennington returned to host a brand-new season of Rock the Block.
Pennington also returned for a new season of Battle on the Beach alongside new mentors Mika Kleinschmidt and Sarah Baeumler. Alison Victoria will also return to the network later this year on multiple shows, including a new season of Sin City Rehab, while Scott McGillivray and Bryan Baeumler will team up for new episodes of Renovation Resort Showdown.

Sin City Rehab — Season 2
Following its successful first season, which aired in 2025, HGTV announced that Sin City Rehab will return for its sophomore outing on Wednesday, October 7, at 9/8c.
“Vegas doesn’t slow down… and neither do I,” Victoria said in a statement about the show’s renewal. “This season is bigger in every possible way. Bigger projects. Bigger risks. Bigger personalities. And when you’re building in a city like Las Vegas, every decision can either make you… or completely take you out.”

Scariest House in America — Season 3
Two months after the show was confirmed for a third season, HGTV announced in May that the Retta-led series will return on Friday, September 18, at 9/8c.
“From the East to the Ozarks and New England to the Midwest, Retta will discover harrowing places like a centuries-old frightening farmhouse, an eerie former nursing home and a rotting 1800s jailer’s house that abound with supernatural sites, ghostly apparitions and unearthly whispers,” reads the season’s description. “In each episode, Retta will share hilariously unfiltered views about each home’s scary appearance, un-livability and fright factor. HGTV will ultimately deem one house the ‘scariest’ of them all and award the homeowners a $150,000 renovation by popular network designer Alison Victoria in a one-hour season finale.”

Ugliest House in America — Seasons 7 & 8
Retta and Alison Victoria continued to explore some of the country’s most unique homes on the show’s seventh season, which premiered on January 7 and ended on February 4.
