Heirloom Hotel Owners Share Update After Fire: ‘We’re So Grateful’

On June 5, The Heirloom Hotel Instagram account shared a piece of good news after so much sad news.

“So many of y’all have asked if the beloved ‘Welcome’ sign from the hotel lobby was able to be saved … and as you can see from this picture, it was!” the caption shared. “Thanks to some incredible conservation and framing work (looking at you, @napierframeslaurel).”

The post’s caption continued, “We’re so grateful to have this piece of the hotel’s story preserved, but even more grateful for all of the love and support you’ve shown us this past week since learning about the fire. Every message, comment, and prayer has meant more than you know.”

“We’re working every day to keep moving forward and keep building,” the Heirloom Hotel owners shared.

They also teased, “A new episode of ‘The Heirloom Podcast’ is coming this weekend, and this one features the whole framily. Subscribe on YouTube so you’ll be the first to know when it drops. 🇺🇸♥️ #theheirloom.”

Fans Share Relief About Welcome Sign, Ask About Cooking School Recipes

Fans flooded the comments section to share their relief over seeing that the “Welcome” sign wasn’t destroyed in the fire.

“Seeing this makes my heart so incredibly happy for y’all! God is good and His timing is everything,” one fan wrote. “Hang in there. The Heirloom’s story is just getting started. 😉🙏🏻🙌🏻”

Others shared, “This picture warms my heart,” “Thank goodness!!! I was wondering about that,” and “Wonderful! I was wondering if it survived ❤️🙏.”

Another fan noted, “I’m so relieved and hope to see it hanging up in The Heirloom one day! Rooting for you all!”

“Keep building — we will come! ❤️🙌” one fan commented.

Other fans wondered about what else survived the fire. “The check-in desk? Ben’s kitchen tables? The wood paneling and mill work on the first floor?” one fan asked. They added, “I also wrote Liberty Mutual … 😒. Sending lots of love your way. I’m ready for the next season of ‘Inn This Together’! Don’t leave us hanging!❤️”

Some fans asked about the recipes that were hung in the cooking school.

“Was also worried about all your precious Grandma’s framed recipes in the cooking school, so many special things were crafted for this meaningful beautiful space!!!” one fan wrote.

Another person shared, “My mind immediately went to all the recipes up on the wall — hopefully they were able to be saved.”

On May 29, The Heirloom Hotel co-owner (and HGTV star Erin Napier’s BFF) Mallorie Rasberry shared behind-the-scenes photos, writing, “We may have lost everything but I’d do it all over again. Well, I guess I’d skip a couple parts 😘🇺🇸❤️.”

For those wondering whether or not the recipes that were hanging in The Heirloom Hotel cooking school were lost in the fire, Rasberry shared, “Thankfully all the ones in the building were copies.”
