“BABY No. 3?! 😭💛” — Jasmine Roth just shocked fans with joyful pregnancy news, revealing she and Brett Roth are expecting another baby. Already parents to Hazel and Darla, the couple says this surprise completely changed everything for their growing family.

HGTV Star Jasmine Roth Shares Joyful Baby No. 3 News

Jasmine Roth’s family is growing again!

The HGTV star is expecting her third child with husband Brett Roth.

The home renovation expert, already mom to daughters Hazel and Darla, admitted the pregnancy news came as a total surprise to People.

Roth Found Out She Was Expecting Before a Trip

Roth said she discovered she was expecting shortly before a major family vacation — and the timing caught her completely off guard.

“It was the Monday after the Super Bowl, and we’d been busy hosting friends and family all weekend,” Roth shared. “I was packing for a big family snowboarding trip to Japan and had this thought that maybe I should take a test before we left — just to be safe.”

What happened next quickly shifted everything.

“And sure enough, it was positive,” she said. “The lines were super faint, but they were there. I was completely shocked and instantly emotional.”

For Roth and Brett, the news brought excitement but also a reality check, especially after already raising two young daughters.

“Having two kids already, we both know how much adding another baby changes everything, and I’ll never forget that moment of realizing together, ‘Okay…this is really happening,’” Roth continued. “There’s nothing else like that feeling.”

While the pregnancy has brought joy, Roth admitted it hasn’t been easy physically.

Roth Has Been Having Symptoms

According to Roth, the first trimester closely mirrored her previous pregnancies, bringing waves of difficult symptoms.

“The first 12 weeks were very similar to my previous pregnancies — constant nausea, feeling underwater all day long, totally exhausted,” she explained.

Roth said medication ultimately helped make the experience more manageable.

“Reglan was the only thing that really helped,” she shared.

She also found that adjusting her eating habits made a noticeable difference.

“I also started paying close attention to my blood sugar and noticed that keeping things balanced made a huge difference,” Roth said. “I prioritized protein before anything else — even something simple like parmesan before fruit — and it honestly helped so much.”

The Couple Started Off As Friends

The couple’s relationship goes back nearly two decades, first beginning as close friends and roommates before evolving into romance.

They married in 2013 and later expanded their family, welcoming Hazel in 2020 and Darla in 2024.

Roth has previously spoken openly about waiting until the timing felt right to start a family.

“Parenting is hard no matter when you do it,” Roth told HGTV in 2024. “I feel confident and happy with our decision to wait.”

The baby news also arrives during an especially busy time professionally.

Roth Has a New HGTV Project

Roth recently announced a new HGTV project, teaming up with comedian Leslie Jones for a fresh series called “Roast My Rental.”

The show will feature Jones humorously critiquing outrageous short-term rental properties while Roth steps in to help transform them.

“Leslie Jones is calling out the worst rental properties on the Internet!” an HGTV social media post teased.

“In Roast My Rental, the comedian/design enthusiast/truth-teller goes in on the country’s worst short-term rentals — think viral photos of gross amenities and misleading listings — then attempts to flip them in 72 hours alongside reno expert Jasmine Roth!”

Roth celebrated the announcement online, sharing excitement about finally making the collaboration public.

“Today’s BIG NEWS!!!” she wrote on Instagram Stories. “Can’t believe we’re Facebook official @lesdogggg.”
