There’s no place like Drew’s home for the holidays!

Ho, ho, ho! Is that Santa we hear?
Nopeâitâs Drew, and his gift to us is an exclusive tour of his holiday decorations! Drew, Linda, Parker, and Piper have all been busy decking the halls this year, and the results are a cozy, colorful, and festively fun home. From the tree beautifully trimmed with ribbon to the candy cane wall designs crafted from peel-and-stick paper, Drew and Lindaâs house puts the North Pole to shame.
You can watch the full video above to see all the details, but one of our favorites is the tree. With small kids in the house, Drew and Linda opt for non-breakable ornaments, like homemade snowflakes and wooden pieces to avoid any messes. Then, they add scrap ribbon to give some depth and interest. And when it comes to their decorating process, they have it down pat: Drew does his best with the ribbons, and Linda redoes them after. Hey, we love a tradition around here!
In fact, Parker has a few little holiday habits of his own, like putting his spin on the standard advent calendar activity. âHeâll actually go around the house, take things, and heâll put them in here and then surprise himself with it,â Drew says. âWhich is exactly what I did when I was little.â
Parker also likes to take ornaments from the âbig treeâ and hang them around the house, particularly on his own wooden tree that heâs always sprucing up. âI just love that this is design in motion at all times,â Drew says. âSome days it has one ornament, some days itâs completely full of ornaments, but it makes it fun.â Sounds like heâs following in Dadâs design footstepsâŚ
The real showstopper, though, is the Christmas train! Parker loves trains, so they decided to install a track around their living room ceiling. âLinda brought it up as an amazing idea that she thought would never come to fruition,â he says. âI thought, âWe have to make this happen, especially for Parker.ââ It took a bit of work and creativity, but this mini reno definitely paid off.
They also have candy cane-themed wallsâwhich they created with peel-and-stick paper that makes it easy to remove (and fix any mistakes)âand cubbies filled with Christmas books, hand-crafted pieces, nutcrackers, Elves on the Shelf, and more. Plus, stockings galore!
When it comes to the exterior, Drew and Linda go all-out. You saw his light show for Halloween, and thanks to his Twinkly lights and Luxedo projector, all he had to do was flip a switch to get in the holiday spirit. Now his display is filled with reindeer, elves, and, of course, Santa Claus.
âIt makes me feel like Iâm a big kid again,â he says. âWe have neighbors stopping by and people specifically coming to this street to see our house. And thatâs kind of fun. I think it brings them back to their childhood, too.â
