HGTV fans have been begging the network to bring back “Bargain Block” stars Evan Thomas and Keith Bynum since their hit series was canceled last summer. While there is no update on a return to television, Thomas and Bynum just announced their next career move.

‘Bargain Block’ Stars Career Move

Bynum and Thomas took to social media on Wednesday, June 3, to share their exciting next endeavor.

“As summer begins and several projects come to a close, that can only mean one thing. We are taking new client projects!” the pair announced via Instagram. “Whether you are looking to renovate a kitchen, create a dream main suite, add on to your home or build a brand new one, we can help with our design and build services.”

Their announcement continued, “We work with our clients from the initial design stages all the way to final construction details to make sure you love your project. We only have a few project slots available, so if you’ve been wanting to create your dream home, now is the time.”

They explained that potential clients can reach out directly through social media or through their website. “Let’s make something beautiful together!”

Fans were understandably thrilled for the men, but remained hopeful that they would land another HGTV series.

“Good for u! Hgtv messed up by not renewing your show! Loved it and both of u!” one follower commented.

“Miss you guys so much. Your work is always exceptional,” another wrote.

“I know you guys will be back on tv eventually. Fun, talented and caring duo,” a third manifested.

‘Bargain Block’ Canceled

Bynum devastated fans when he announced that HGTV had not renewed their beloved renovation series.

“So, I get this question a lot, and we do have a few more episodes coming out in August, actually, starting on Evan’s birthday,” he explained during an Instagram Story Q&A in June 2025. “But they are the remainder of season four, because they did not renew the show for season five. So, it’s a long story, but they originally greenlit it and then — I guess that was back in December. Then they decided in February, after we got everything ready for season five, that they weren’t going to do it.”

He continued, “So, it threw us into a bit of a crazy financial tailspin. And the last three, four months, we’ve been trying to just figure it out. So we’re doing client work and got some other stuff going on, but it’s been — oh, man, it’s been wild.”

Bynum and Thomas were just as devastated as the fans, it appeared. They shared an emotional goodbye ahead of the series finale that September.

“I’ve wondered for years what this day would feel like and now i know. It’s a grateful joy,” their joint statement read. “Evan, Shea and I experienced something that most people will only ever get to dream of and it was magical. I am grateful for every fan, viewer and critic because every bit of it helped us grow. We love you all so very much and hope you loved it as much as we did. We’ll see yall around! #detroitproud”
