Only one team was crowned the champions of Rock the Block Season 7, but the entire cast is feeling grateful after the competition’s end.

During the Monday, May 25, season finale, the teams tackled their homes’ front yards, courtyards, and exteriors. Like seasons past, appraisers evaluated each of the four properties to determine which team added the most value to their house. After seven weeks of intense renovations, Kim Wolfe and Chelsea Meissner were picked as the Season 7 winners.

“Well, that was fun. What a wild ride,” Wolfe captioned a montage of photos from her and Meissner’s house via Instagram on Tuesday, May 26. “Thank you for having us @hgtv @chelseameissner58 you are super talented brilliant person, and the best friend and teammate!”

Wolfe went on to thank the cast and crew, writing, “It wouldn’t have been the same without ya’ll. [Loved] getting to know you all! @travisjonesdesign @katienisbett ryanfowlkes @danodair if you know you know, and you know;) @thetypennington @jjbarnes_ @caseyfurche BRILLIANT.”

Taniya Nayak shared her appreciation for the cast in an Instagram post of her own, the first slide of which featured a photo of their group hug after Wolfe and Meissner’s win announcement. “What a wild ride! I don’t think there could’ve been a better pairing of teams on Season 7 Rock The Block @hgtv,” she wrote on Wednesday, May 27. “I for one- hit the lottery with @thedrewlachey as my partner in crime and design. We are so proud of what we built together. From two strangers to lifelong friends.”

She continued, “But then we hit the lottery 7 more times with the rest of the gang including my great friend @thetypennington! And let’s not forget about the ones you don’t see- our bad ass behind the scenes magic makers! The best in the biz! So happy for our queens of the block @kimspradlinwolfe and @chelseameissner58!!! Gahhh I already miss our rather dysfunctional but ever loving neighbors and neighborhood!”

Nayak’s partner, Drew Lachey, said he “couldn’t have done it” without her in an Instagram post of his own, adding, “To the entire cast and creative team, what an amazing ride. This experience was one for the books!”

In a Tuesday Instagram Story video, Mina Starsiak Hawk gushed over the friendships she formed with the cast, including her partner, Vernon Davis. “We’ve all become friends, and I think if any of us were in each other’s city, we would definitely reach out to the other one,” she said before teasing, “There will be a Rock the Block Season 7 reunion for us at some point.”

Scott McGillivray, meanwhile, weighed in on his and Brooke Hogan‘s Season 7 loss in a Tuesday Instagram video. “We worked hard, Brooke and I. We won the primary bedroom. We won the main bathroom. We won the walk-in closet challenge. We won the kitchen and the morning room. These are the biggest, most value add spaces in the house,” he stated. “We won all of those, but we didn’t win the entire, overall appraisal value. I know a lot of people have thoughts on it. I’d love to hear yours.”

Speaking of his partnership with Hogan, he stated, “I think we did a great job. She’s super talented, really funny and friendly, over-the-top.”

Hogan, for her part, took to Instagram to share her tearful reaction to watching the finale on TV. “Whoever gave me the chance to be on this show, at the network, I just have to thank you because it reignited my soul,” she told her followers, adding, “Thank you, HGTV, I appreciate everybody watching.”
