In one of the most emotional tributes the Irwin family has ever shared, siblings Robert and Bindi Irwin have released a heartfelt new song titled “Tanglewood Sky” to celebrate what would have been their beloved mother Terri Irwin’s 61st birthday.
Recorded at Australia Zoo Studios, the ballad blends Robert’s soft guitar melodies with Bindi’s tender vocals, capturing the family’s deep connection to nature, love, and legacy. The song’s title, “Tanglewood Sky,” comes from Terri’s favorite tree on the zoo grounds — a place she used to visit with her late husband, Steve Irwin, and their children.
In a moving Instagram post, Bindi wrote:
“Mum taught us that love never fades, it just transforms. This song is our way of saying thank you — for every hug, every laugh, and every adventure under the Tanglewood Sky.”
Fans around the world flooded social media with emotional messages, calling the track “a love letter to family” and “the most beautiful tribute the Irwins have ever made.”
Robert added, “We wanted to give the world a piece of Mum’s spirit — her strength, her kindness, and her wild heart.”
