Budweiser is celebrating its 150th anniversary and once again will have a Super Bowl ad.

This year’s ad is themed “American Icons,” and features a Budweiser Clydesdale, a bald eagle, and Lynyrd Skynyrd’s iconic song ‘Free Bird.’

The 60-second ad will air nationally during Super Bowl LX.

Budweiser will once again be a part of the Super Bowl with a memorable ad themed “American Icons,” featuring a Budweiser Clydesdale, a bald eagle, and Lynyrd Skynyrd’s iconic song ‘Free Bird.’

Budweiser is celebrating its 150th anniversary and this year’s Super Bowl ad honors its deep-rooted American heritage.  Joining the Clydesdale in the ad is a bald eagle under the care of the American Eagle Foundation permitted by the United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS).

The “American Icons” ad chronicles the story of the unwavering friendship of a Clydesdale and a bald eagle with the song “Free Bird” by Lynyrd Skynyrd as the eagle takes flight.

For the third year in a row, Budweiser worked with Academy Award-nominated filmmaker and Emmy Award-winning commercial director Henry-Alex Rubin to produce “American Icons.”
