Boxer David Haye caused a dramatic scene during Friday night’s live final of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here as he confronted Adam Thomas while he was on stage with Ant and Dec.

Following a package that showed Thomas completing his final trial while out in South Africa, the presenters asked fellow contestant Gemma Collins for her views.

As the reality TV star pledged her support for Adam, Haye intervened, asking Thomas: “Do you think you deserve to win after calling Adam the c-word a couple of times?”

Thomas replied: “After that trial, I deserve it, yeh.”

As Ant and Dec tried to settle things down, Haye continued to rant about the fact ITV had cut out footage that showed what really happened, with the presenters quickly pointing out they had to edit out footage that was unbroadcastable.

Bullard was present on Friday night’s show despite suggestions he would boycott it over the feud. It’s understood ITV had threatened to withhold part of his fee for if he did not fulfil his commitments.

The clash between Thomas and Bullard on I’m A Celebrity has been rumoured to have been far more heated than what was shown on TV, with suggestions that particular moments were cut from the broadcast.

Evicted campmates Sinitta and David have both alleged that Adam called Jimmy a ‘c***’ in a jaw-dropping exchange that ITV chose not to show on Tuesday evening. In an even more startling development, speculation emerged that Adam even tried to kick his former campmate in frustration – allegations that have been dismissed by the broadcaster.

Adam and Jimmy clashed on Tuesday’s episode when they paired up to tackle a Bushtucker trial, but tensions escalated when hosts Ant and Dec revealed that the final two to complete the grim challenge would face eviction. While the Emmerdale actor threw himself into it, his teammate chose to withdraw.

Incensed by his decision, he branded the former footballer a “prick” and raged: “What is up with you? Tell me why? All you had to do was run through some f***ing mud and you said get me out of here.”

Following the scenes, which were recorded in September, it has been suggested that much was omitted from the final edit. A source alleged that Adam “completely lost it and went for Jimmy. He called him a c*** and Jimmy believes that he tried to kick him, too.

“It was shocking. Jimmy’s view is that Adam was vile, vicious and violent, but most of it has been cut out by ITV so the viewers will not see the full extent of his behaviour,” they added to the Daily Mail. “Jimmy is devastated by it all, it was supposed to be a celebration of I’m A Celeb, but Adam appeared to have let his temper get the better of him. It spoilt what should have been a wonderful experience for the whole line-up.”, reports the Mirror.

However, an ITV spokesperson has firmly rejected this account, telling the Daily Mirror: “This is categorically not true. Adam did not try to kick Jimmy.”

While Adam was clearly furious over Jimmy’s decision and did kick a door in the trial area, it was reportedly “nowhere near” his fellow campmate, and was shown in the broadcast. The spokesperson continued: “We show an accurate and fair representation of events.”

The soap actor, who lives with psoriatic arthritis, was ultimately permitted to stay in the competition following a vote from his campmates.

Sinitta subsequently addressed the dispute in a new video, suggesting more occurred than what viewers witnessed. Describing the “massive fight”, she said: “There was a big argument, I can hear c-word, c-word, shouting c-word, you c-word. What on earth is going on?

“Just because he’s called I’m A Celebrity.. Get Me Out Of Here, doesn’t mean that we should close them out and be really shouting and screaming at him. That’s the game. If you can’t do it then you call that and you’re out.

“What are they going to do to me when I hit my wall? Anyway, so I’m trying to stop them – I’m just thinking why isn’t anyone trying to stop them fighting? I particularly felt bad for Jimmy because he’d hit a wall of depression when Gemma left because he and Gemma were in the jungle together and they had a friendship and a bond already and he was a bit sad when Gemma went.

“I was trying to keep his spirits up and it was then he told me that his dad was very ill and he was actually feeling guilty that he wasn’t home with his dad. His head was gone; it was time for him to go.”
