Which âRock the Blockâ Season 7 Teams Have the Most Wins So Far?
Everything is bigger and better in Las Vegas, including the competition in Season 7 of Rock the Block.
Set in Sin City, the latest season of the HGTV competition series features four new teams battling it out on the Block. And for the first time in the showâs history, the teams feature HGTV stars competing alongside celebrities with home design and renovation experience.
âThis is a genius idea. When I first heard, I was like, âWhat? How is this going to work when theyâve never met each other before?â Maybe itâs Season 7, and seven is a lucky number when weâre in Vegas,â host Ty Pennington exclusively told TV Insider ahead of the Season 7 premiere. âBut Iâll tell you this season of Rock the Block is big. Itâs exciting, itâs flamboyant. Itâs like Vegas itself. Itâs a big show. Maybe itâs because the HGTV stars are working with reality stars. In many ways, they are just stars.â
Celebrity contestants werenât the only new twist introduced for Season 7. The winner of each episode gets to choose between putting $3,000 toward their next design or adding $1,000 to their homeâs total appraised value at the end of the season. Like seasons past, the team with the highest appraisal value at the end of the renovation wins.

Rock the Block, Mondays, 8/7c, HGTV
Scott McGillivray & Brooke Hogan
Total wins: 1
Scott and Brookeâs bedroom, bathroom, and closet design scored them the first win of the season during the April 13 premiere episode. âWe might be the unlikely match-up here, but we found a rhythm,â Scott said in a confessional following their big win. âWeâve got the first win under our belt. Team Scott and Brooke. Modern Hacienda. Still undefeated!â
Brooke, who owns her own design company, added, âI love what I do, and it felt like all the work and all of the things that Iâve been doing in the shadows, it kind of just made me feel a little bit like I have something still left.â Offering words of encouragement, Scott stated, âThis is just the beginning. I think thatâs what you need to realize.â
The duo chose to add $3,000 to their budget for the next weekâs design rather than add $1,000 to their homeâs final appraisal.
Kim Wolfe & Chelsea Meissner
Total wins: 1
Unlike Scott and Brooke, Kim and Chelsae chose to add $1,000 to their homeâs final appraised value after scoring Episode 2âs win. Their âSmoky Sexyâ foyer, great room, and den design won over guest judge (and two-time Rock the Block winner) Michel Smith Boyd.
âYou can feel it. Itâs the momentum surging through our veins,â Kim said after the duoâs victory. Noting it âfeels good to win,â Chelsea added, âIâm not pumping the breaks at all. I am more pumped now than ever.â
Mina Starsiak Hawk & Vernon Davis
Total wins: 0
Mina and Vernonâs designs across the first two episodes impressed the judges, but not enough to score them any wins so far. During the season premiere, Mina said it was âannoyingâ to see Scott and Brooke revel in their victory.
âScott is just so smug and so happy with himself,â she told the cameras. Vernon, for his part, stated, â[Scott] was flashing the money at the end. Iâm like, âDude, itâs not how you start. Itâs how you finish.â The futureâs bright for us as long as we stay the course.â
Taniya Nayak & Drew Lachey
Total wins: 0
Taniya and Drew also have yet to take home a win this season. Their loss in Episode 2 hit particularly hard for Taniya, as the pair had put a lot of hard work into their âLiveable Luxeâ living space design.
âWe thought we had this one. We thought this one was ours,â Drew stated in a confessional. A tearful Taniya shared, âIâm not crying âcause Iâm so happy for them. Iâm sure that their place is gorgeous. Itâs just, we put a lotâŠâ Drew concluded the episode on a motivational note, telling the cameras, âAs much as it isnât fun not winning, weâre gonna keep running until Ty announces that final winner. Weâre never out.â
