Halloween Night on Season 34 of Dancing With the Stars brought some impressive scores to the ballroom, as well as a new celebrity contestant at the top of the leaderboard. Now, the remaining eight contestants will return to the dance floor for Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night on Tuesday, November 4.
The season is quickly winding down and there are so many great dancers left in the competition. Meanwhile, Andy Richter has benefited from the fan vote, making it through weeks of eliminations, despite consistently being at the bottom of the leaderboard.
Judges Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli have started giving out 10s in recent weeks, and with the finale just three weeks away, there’s lot of pressure to get those top scores. This week, they’ll be joined by Flavor Flav as a guest judge, and the scores will once again be combined with viewer votes to determine who will go home.

1. Robert Irwin & Witney Carson
You just can’t deny the love for Robert Irwin! And it’s for good reason. Not only is he super likable, but he’s also proven that he has skills as a dancer and performer.
This week, Irwin will be dancing a paso doble, so he’ll need to bring the same fire and intensity that he did for last week’s Argentine tango if he wants to stay toward the top of the leaderboard. But regardless, he has the viewers eating out of the palm of his hand!
2. Whitney Leavitt & Mark Ballas
Whitney Leavitt has continued to prove herself as a top contender each week, and even though she fell a few spots down on the leaderboard on Halloween Night, she’s undoubtedly in the running to win the Mirrorball trophy.
This week, she’s dancing the paso doble, which may be a bit more out of her comfort zone, but chances are she’s still going to kill it.
3. Alix Earle & Val Chmerkovskiy
Alix Earle received a 39/40 on Halloween Night, putting her alone at the top of the leaderboard and really solidifying herself as contender to take the title.
She’ll have to continue making a name for herself with the audience, but she’s come a long way since Week 1.
4. Dylan Efron & Daniella Karagach
Dylan Efron is undoubtedly the most improved in this n the work, and I think he still has some legs in this thing. As a viewer, you just can’t help but swoon over him because of his hard work ethic (and undeniable good looks).
Efron moves up and down on the leaderboard, but we have seen him top it before, and I simply don’t think it’s his time to go just yet.
6. Elaine Hendrix & Alan Bersten
Elaine Hendrix wasn’t even able to compete during Halloween Week due to an injury, so her lower judges’ scores were based on rehearsal footage. Luckily, she had the support of viewers to help put her through to Week 8.
Hendrix has proven time and time again that age is just a number with her impressive skills on the dance floor, and she’s really had the fans rallying behind her this season. I predict that this will continue, even if she’s still struggling with her injury this week.
6. Jordan Chiles & Ezra Sosa
Jordan Chiles has been a bit inconsistent on the scoreboard. Many fans felt she was scored too low on Halloween Night, but overall, her performance was a bit forgettable, especially for a contemporary routine.
This week, though, she has a jazz routine, which I think will be right up her alley and help catapult her back toward the top. Hopefully it’s enough to keep the fans invested in voting for her, though!
7. Danielle Fishel & Pasha Pashkov
Danielle Fishel hasn’t been able to make major moves on the leaderboard this season. Her routines are often critiqued by the judges, but she always takes the remarks in stride and hits rehearsals wanting to improve.
In recent weeks, other contestants who haven’t been at the very bottom of the leaderboard have gone home, so Fishel may be in danger if she doesn’t have a standout contemporary in Week 8.
9. Andy Richter & Emma Slater
Viewer votes have saved Andy Richter from several eliminations now. Despite his consistent scoring at the bottom of the leaderboard, the comedian has won over fans to stay in the competition.
But Richter is still clearly very far behind the rest of the contestants when it comes to dancing, so we’ll have to see if he has enough momentum from the fans to make it through another week.
