Fans have gotten to know the Holmes family on HGTV’s Holmes Family Rescue and Holmes on Homes, which recently premiered with a new season called Holmes on Homes: Building a Legacy. The family consists of Mike Holmes Sr. and his kids, Mike Holmes Jr. and Sherry Holmes. Mike Jr.’s wife, Lisa Holmes, has made several cameos, as well.

Are Mike Holmes Jr. and Lisa Holmes still married?
Yes, Mike and Lisa are still happily married. In August, they celebrated their eight-year wedding anniversary and commemorated the occasion with a joint Instagram post.
“I love every one of the 2,922 days of being married to you. Home is you. It’s been 8 years and we have forever to go,” Lisa captioned the series of photos from throughout the pair’s relationship.
Lisa also honored her husband on his birthday in July, gushing, “Happy birthday papa. We admire you. We look up to you. We are proud that you know how to use tools.”
While Mike mostly uses his Instagram page to promote his shows, he did write a special tribute to Lisa on Facebook earlier this year. Along with throwback photos from their early days of knowing each other, Mike wrote, “I have loved her for over half of my life. My first love and my last.”
Do Mike Holmes Jr. and Lisa Holmes have kids?
Yes, Mike and Lisa are parents to two children. Their daughter, Azura, was born in June 2023. “We had the most powerful home birth experience. A story which we will soon share,” the couple shared on Instagram at the time. “She is everything we ever dreamed of and more. We’ve spent the last 8 days completely consumed by her and we are so in love with our new life as parents.”
Less than a year later, Mike and Lisa found out they were expecting again. They announced Lisa’s second pregnancy in October 2024 and welcomed a son in March 2025.
After giving birth to baby No. 2, Lisa announced that she would be taking a step back from her company, L’AB Studio and Clinic, a holistic health clinic and boutique fitness studio. The company offers fitness classes and sells health products with a holistic approach.
“I love both my babies and they need their mamma right now more than ever,” Lisa explained in a July Instagram post. “They say that the first 4 years of a child’s life is critical for building the strong foundation they need to carry them through the rest of their life. So, I choose them.”
However, she noted that she will still be seeing clients and selling herbs in a part-time private practice and said that Mike is continuing his personal training classes. Lisa also confirmed that her company’s fitness space is available to rent out, but shared that other clinic offerings, including pilates and weight training, were being scaled down.
How did Mike and Lisa Holmes meet?
Mike and Lisa were actually teenagers when they met. They briefly dated at the time, but it wasn’t until “years later” that they reconnected (they were 28 and 29, respectively, at the time of their August 2017 wedding).
“At 18, I said to him, ‘I think you’re going to be the father of my children one day,’” Lisa told Hello! Mike also said that he always “knew” he was going to marry Lisa one day. He proposed in 2016 during a trip to Ottawa.
